Crossword Puzzle Maker creates crosswords and word searches from your words and clues.

Data processing

The browser workspace reads entered or imported words, clues and titles to create PDF, Word and PNG output. Chrome's storage.local keeps a random install-count ID, autosaved drafts, saved puzzles and reconstruction settings (crosswordGenerator.v1) and rating-prompt timestamps, dismissal and response state (crosswordGeneratorRatePrompt).

Retention and deletion

Drafts remain until replaced, cleared with New or uninstalled. Saved puzzles remain until deleted or uninstalled; preferences and rating records until changed or uninstalled; downloads, printed copies and submitted feedback have separate deletion paths.

Analytics

The welcome page and the hosted goodbye and rating pages carry analytics used to count installs and removals by country. Chrome opens the welcome page once on first installation. Its install count goes through this site, which derives the country from the connection and stores nothing.

Optional feedback

Ratings of 1-3 stars open the rating page, carrying stars and interface language in its address; 4-5 open Chrome Web Store reviews once configured. Chrome may open the goodbye survey after removal. Optional submissions include the chosen reason, comment, extension version and interface language; comments reach the publisher through Telegram, while comment-free submissions become counts.

Use and rights

Data is not sold, transferred for unrelated purposes, or used for advertising or lending. Data use follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority, without discrimination.

Take care when entering or sharing children's information in worksheet titles and clues.
